This is what we do on the road

Roadside Break

Due to some GPS mishaps we did a little more mileage than expected, but that always makes for interesting stories...

When we stopped for gas, the attendant was clearly suffering from crack withdrawal - reeling and gagging behind the counter when she served Marc and Joe.  A few minutes later she passed out, an older couple called 911 and the ambulance and firemen arrived.  Our security detail did not have a lot of sympathy for her - hazards of the job, I guess.

After the extra miles, we needed a last break to stretch before the final 100km to Bangor - everyone arrived in a good mood.

Happy Good Morning

Great start to the day with breakfast at Priscilla's. Counter space only ... the place is very popular and Priscilla runs a tight ship. Marc almost put the salt on the wrong side and was reprimanded.

Day 2 North Conway to Bangor - The Weird Way Round

The Garmin GPS really really wanted to go south today but eventually it was coaxed into going east!

Mount Washington

To the top of Mount Washington. Where Joe stated "Once again we travel vast distances to see nothing".

Day 1 - Going South

Border rest stop where we met a nice border agent and former Mississippi police officer.  Advice to Mary was passport should be signed to be valid 😉
